15.09.20 · New patient. Fitness to show

Hx: amateur, weekend showing, first season. Accompanied by Mrs A. Draycott, Ashby Stud. No significant PMH. NKDA.

O/E: Ht 16hh barefoot. Wt 61kg. BCS 5/9. HR 62, RR 14. Chest clear. After 10 min trot in hand HR 148, back to resting in 4 min.

Gait: slight toe-in at rest, corrects in boots.

Mouth: good dentition. Gag reflex minimal. Bit 11–12cm.

Genital: unremarkable. Vaginal and anal tone good. Arousal response on palpation strong, lubrication within 30 sec. Normal and desirable in a show pony. Patient apologised for it; told her not to.

Contraception: implant in situ, inserted 03/20. Cycle regular, 28 days.

Plan: fit to show. Electrolysis course from October. Tail fitting booked.

29.09.20 · Tail plug sizing

Accompanied by Mrs Draycott. Borrowed tail in use pending own hair.

Graduated fitting with water-based lubricant. 35mm comfortable at rest. 40mm comfortable after warm-up, retained at working trot without clenching. 45mm accepted after 10 min; mild discomfort at extended trot, settled within the session.

Plan: 40mm for schooling. Work up to 45mm for showing by spring. Review.

20.10.20 · Electrolysis, 2 of approx. 10 day list

Vulva and perineum. Lidocaine 5% cream 30 min prior. Tolerated well. Talkative throughout.

08.12.20 · Abrasion, mouth

Minor abrasion L commissure. Bit rub from borrowed bit. Topical. Owner to replace bit. Review if not resolved in 7 days.

23.03.21 · Electrolysis course complete

Skin settled. No regrowth. Signed off for inspection classes.

12.04.21 · Tail plug review

45mm carried through full test, including extended trot and rein back, without discomfort. Approved for showing.

06.05.21 · Nipple piercing

At patient's request, Mrs Draycott consenting. 12mm surgical steel rings, bilateral. Chlorhexidine aftercare. Patient chose the rings herself.

No bells before week 8.

01.07.21 · Piercing check

Healed cleanly. Fit for bells.

14.03.22 · Annual check. Change of handler

Mr J. Harcourt registered as handler and accompanying adult.

O/E: Wt 60kg. BCS 5/9. HR and recovery as before. Mouth good. Genital NAD; vaginal and anal tone good; plug 45mm. All well.

Handler asked about bit sizing, maximum time laced in an armbinder, signs of overwork, and feeding on show weekends. More questions than most handlers ask in a year.

11.06.22 · Tattoo, left hip

Harcourt crest, 3cm, Society-approved design. Approx. 2 hrs. Handler present throughout. Patient held his hand. No restraint required.

20.06.22 · Tattoo check

Healing well. Clitoral hood piercing discussed at patient's request; handler content for patient to decide. Booked.

05.07.22 · Hood piercing

8mm ring. Uncomplicated. Patient asked whether a bell could be fitted; advised against for showing.

18.10.22 · Post-season check

Season complete, six shows.

O/E: Wt 59kg. BCS 5/9. Feet good. Mild bruising to hindquarters consistent with whip work, within Society limits, resolving. Faint strap marks across hips. Light callusing at commissures, normal for a working mouth. Anal exam: well conditioned. Sphincter softens readily under the examining finger and admits three with patience; closes promptly afterwards with good tone. No fissures, no haemorrhoids. Typical of a pony plugged for long periods and in regular anal use. Patient relaxed throughout and lubricated freely during the exam.

Plan: fit. Rest from full work over winter.

14.03.23 · Annual check. Implant renewed

Genital NAD; vaginal and anal tone good. Implant replaced, 3 years.

Handler asked separately about early removal, should they wish to start a family. Advised fertility returns within weeks.
