Feed

Bowl on the floor, 7am and 6pm. Water topped up whenever you pass.
Tips her water when she's bored, then sulks in the wet. Keep it wedged in the corner.

Dressing

Affectionate. Likes a good rub under her tail before she's dressed. Very biddable after.

Blows out. Do the breast collar up in stages.

Split crotch strap snug either side. Be generous with the chamois cream. She'll try to grind against you while you're applying it. Don't encourage her.

Armbinder laced snug, not tight. Check her fingers aren't going white.

Bit last. She takes it better if you warm it in your hand first.

Turnout

Paddock 2 with the bay mare only. Not with the greys.

Handling

Petulant if not used daily. Good mouth. Likes anal as a reward on show day.
Denial for two days before a show is advised. She goes better for it.

Quirks

Rubs on the door bolt if left too long. Don't scold her; tell J.
Whickers when she hears his car. Ignore it.

Thursday, Friday: NO FINISHING. Hartsfold Saturday.
